American white oak is a strong and durable hardwood making it a great choice for those who prefer a more pale colour option to the more reddish-browns of the meranti making it beautiful when finished properly. While it has similar properties to European Oak it has a wider variety of shades, varying from pale yellow to a delicate brown. The American white oak PAR is machine-planed all round making for a smooth surface and reduces the finished sized by roughly 5mm,
