Concrete morticed posts are very resilient and do not present problems such as rot or insect damage that occur in untreated wooden fence posts, making them the a common alternative to timber posts. Manufactured to a very high standard they are used in conjunction with arris rails, gravel boards and feather edge boards for close board fencing.
